OUR NEXT PRODUCTION:

Saturday 30th June 7.30
Friday 6th July 7.30
Saturday 7th July 7.30
A Supper Theatre evening of THREE one-act plays by THREE masters of comedy.
Chinamen by Michael Frayn
A dinner party descends into chaos when an unexpected guest arrives. Fast footwork is needed to host ‘two’ dinner parties and prevent the guests from meeting. This early play was the inspiration for Frayn’s comic masterpiece ‘Noises Off’.
Gosforth's Fete by Alan Ayckbourn
Ayckbourn celebrates the great English Fete, and amidst a thunderstorm of monsoon proportions, everything that can go wrong does go wrong! A well meaning Gosforth is hell-bent on involving the whole village in the annual fete. But his well-laid plans go belly up in a series of disasters ending in anarchy.
What’s for Pudding? By David Tristram
Jack and Mary prepare for another boring night in, but friends Ted and Maureen have other ideas. Aided by a bottle of whisky and an appearance from Dennis, who wants to order a pair of ‘flares’ from Mary's catalogue, the evening unfolds hilariously revealing some home truths about their hosts’ relationship.

JOIN THE AUDIENCE?
We are an amateur, non-profit organisation financed almost entirely from our event revenue so your support is very much appreciated. Individual tickets are available from our Box Office (see above) or you may consider buying a whole show for a fun/value/fundraising night out for your local group/school/club etc. Benson Hall can seat up to 110 in rows or 84 around 14 tables of 6.
Enquiries - producer@buntingforddrama.org
JOIN THE SOCIETY?
Unlike most other clubs and societies, a dramatic society is a project based organisation which means you can try it without any long term obligation then opt in or out of future shows/events etc. to suit your personal preferences and commitments to work and family etc.
Don’t be fooled by the stuffy title, our ‘Society’ is fuelled by having fun as a group, somehow managing to pull together the wide range of practical, artistic and business activities needed to make it all happen. We laugh a lot and make many good memories together, often trying new ideas and techniques for our interest and personal development. The group is very supportive and you will be among friends. Nobody is good at everything, but with a meeting of minds, the team usually manages to successfully coordinate the finances, set building, and script learning etc. in time for the opening night!
New members (on and off stage) are always welcome. If you're interested, we can (usually) be found rehearsing at Benson Hall from 8-10 on Thursday evenings. Sometimes (usually) followed by a visit to the wine bar! For more details see the 'ABOUT US' page or e-mail enquiry@buntingforddrama.org
